Introduction: In the series of naruto there are many different level ranks for missions. These mission levels are determined by what ninja rank the ninja is one. As you can see below the top level rank the A rank is based around the Jounin and the Kage leveled ninjas for the most dangerous ranked missions. So as the mission ranks go down the experience needed for these missions are going down aswell.

Rank A: The rank A mission levels are the most important and left for the best ninjas usually jounins and even possibly kages if necessary. These missions are the most dangerous of all of the mission ranks. There is usually no ninjas that are below the level of the jounin rank that is participating in this mission rank unless they are either very strong and intelligent or if the village has their rank A ninjas in low numbers or basically if it is necessary then they will use a lower rank, but this is not often. These missions are extremely dangerous and are not suitable for anyone under the jounin rank as their is almost always death and injury as a result from these missions.

Rank B: The rank B mission levels are not as important nor are they as dangerous and tough as the rank A missions. However this mission rank is not the easiest rank as it is actually quite difficult and dangerous. Most of the rank B ninjas are used for missions that require less power and intelligence than the rank A mission level, and are usually involved in retrieving things such as important documents or protecting someone and keeping them safe and providing a safe location for them. These mission ranks are usually for the Jounin and or Chuunin ranked ninjas as they still involve a danger.

Rank C: The rank C mission levels are less important than both the mission levels A and B, but still require skill and intelligence. This mission level is usually performed by that of Chuunins. In some cases there are also mission rank D level ninjas which are the Gennin who are used in the rank C mission levels if they are needed and if it is necessary. Most of the rank C mission leveled ninjas are involved in missions such as protecting someone such as an elderly person and or children or even sending or retrieving a document that is of some importance.

Rank D: The rank D mission levels are the least important and the lowest of all of the mission ranks. These missions are usually always performed by that of the Gennin as they are the lowest ranked academy graduate ninjas. These missions seen as useless and boring work for the Gennins which it usually is for them. These low ranked mission levels involve such things as saving an animal, such as a cat caught up a tree, walking an animal or other pointless and very boring work. Gennins who want to become up to the Chuunin rank must complete eight of these boring missions.
