In the series of Naruto weapons are very heavily used throughout the entire series. Even from the first episode their has been weapons used in the series. They are used as a first option when in battle, and when needed when in a tight spot to get them out of it. Kunai: The Kunai is a standard weapon for any ninja in Naruto, the kunai is a sharp looking tool that all ninjas will have with them and use. The Kunai is a short knife type weapon which has a hole to allow that of the ninja who has one to put their fingers in and strike at a very fast speed. This weapon is extremely vital for all shinobi as it is an all purpose knife that can be used to stab, slice and to throw at the opponent. An example of someone using the Kunai is Naruto.
Senbon Needles: Senbon needles are mainly used for Acapuncture, which if you do not know is a form of Chinese healing for redirecting ki throughout your body so that it can be balanced out. But they are not just used for this, the Senbon Needles are a deadly weapon that requires extreme accuracy from a shinobi who if properly trained can kill opponents. Because of the extreme accuracy and speed needed to use the Senbon Needles effectively they are not a very popular weapon choice, as it is quite hard because the user of these Senbon Needles needs to hit a certain part of the body. Senbon Needles are so effective that a shinobi can miss by a few inches when aiming that they can still put the opponent into a death-like trance, inwhich the opponent will be looking as if they were completely dead. There is only one known shinobi who uses these Senbon Needles in the series of naruto which is Haku.
The Shuriken: The shuriken, or what most people might know as ninjas stars. The Shuriken is a very deadly and also a very commonly used weapon within most shinobi. Throughout the entire series of naruto we have found that there are two types of Shuriken. First of all there are the standard sized shuriken which you will find around most of the Gennin and most shinobi which are small and can be thrown with ease. There is also another Shuriken which is the much larger shuriken that is known as the Fuuma Shuriken. These larger shuriken are used for easy killing of the opponent, but is a lot harder to throw but if hit but the user throwing the shuriken you will find it hard to survive the attack. The Fuuma shuriken are used by the older ninjas such as the jounin and most older ninjas who can handle them better, while most younger level ninjas such as the Gennin prefer to use the standard light weight Shuriken which in some cases the Gennin prefer to even use the larger Fuuma Shuriken.
Swords: In the series of naruto the sword is not the weapon of choice as you might think. But even though the sword is not a typical weapon and a popular weapon throughout naruto there are still some who use them, such as Zabuza, who used a huge sword to aid him in battle. The sword however not very popular or commonly used there are still a couple of samurai bodyguards who possess swords, who are Zouri and Waraji who were hired by Gato who use Katana swords when in battle.
Food Pills: Food pills although some might not think that they could be a weapon or consider them to be a weapon but in truth they are. Food Pills boost the user, which mainly gives them double the amount of chakra they possess and also gives them the ability to fight for three days straight. These food pills funnily enough can also be used on animals and not just humans, however they have different effects which can transform them into something else. The shinobi who uses these food pills is Kiba and his own dog, who transformed into another kiba when he fed it to his dog.
Makibishi: The Makibishi are pretty small nails which can be used to attack the opponent. These Makibishi although similar to that of the Senbon Needles in size and in ability, some users who have mastered the use of these Makibishi tend to use them as a distraction so give the user a bit of time to perform a jutsu and or to use another more deadly weapon such as a Fuuma Shuriken. |
